Boot Camp 104 – Scripture Memory

Memory Verse MondayWelcome to Revival Boot Camp. This is our 5th week of Boot Camp, but don’t worry if you are new. You will not be lost. We are learning scripture verses which will help us to witness to the lost. So far we have memorized Acts 1:8, 1 Cor. 15:1-6 and Luke 13:3. These will help you to tell others the main gospel message.

This week we will learn verses about sin. The great preachers of revival were very specific about sin. These preachers used the 10 commandments to bring about conviction when witnessing. They would not present the gospel to someone who self righteous.

I recommend memorizing both of these verses. Many people in America believe they are good enough to enter heaven because they are not rapist and murderers. These lists show that even liars will not inherit the kingdom of God. All need the shed blood of Jesus to enter heaven. Our righteousness is as filthy rags to the Lord (Isaiah 64:6).

Memory Verses

“The cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death” Revelation 21:8 (NKJV).

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NKJV).
