Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible was written by men who were inspired by God and is the inerrant Word of God. Its purpose is to testify of Jesus Christ and will make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

We believe there is only one God, who is the creator, redeemer, and ruler of the universe. He exists eternally in three persons, the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and was born of the virgin Mary. He died on a cross for our sins, was buried, and arose on the third day. He also ascended into heaven and will return to earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He will judge the world.

We believe the Holy Spirit is a person who is equal to God, the Father, and Jesus, the Son. All scripture is inspired by Him. He convicts men of sin, righteousness and of judgment. Every believer is baptized by the Spirit at the moment of salvation.

We believe that salvation is a free gift available to all who repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord. There is no salvation apart from faith in Jesus Christ. Repentance is a genuine turning from sin. Forgiveness and eternal life are given at the moment of salvation.

We believe that man was created by God in His own image. He was created without sin in the beginning, but by one man’s choice sin entered the world. Now man is born into sin and separated from God by sin. Man can only be reconciled to God through repentance and belief that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one can come to God except through Him. Man is an eternal being. After death, those who have repented and accepted Jesus Christ will dwell forever with the Lord. The unrighteous will be separated from God in hell and will eventually spend eternity in the lake of fire.

We believe that the Body of Christ is one church, which is made up of many congregations of believers. The church only includes those who have repented and have made Jesus their Lord and Savior. She should be one as Jesus and God are one so the world may believe that You sent Jesus. The church is commanded to go into the world and preach the gospel, pray without ceasing, and be a house of prayer for all the nations.
