4 Blood Moons – Something Has Already Changed

I finished reading the book The Mystery of the Shemitah by Jonathan Cahn this week. As many of you know, I have previously reviewed The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn and Four Blood Moons, Something is About to Change by John Hagee. There is much speculation about something big happening as a result of the four blood moons. Some believe the stock market will crash while others believe that America will be attacked.

Are we so busy waiting for an apocalyptic event, that we have failed to see what has already happened since the first blood moon appeared on April 15? I am not downplaying an apocalyptic event by any means, because I do believe that God is already warning us. Let’s take a look at some of the events that have happened around the world since April 15th.

World Events Since Last Blood Moon

ISIS – terrorists group who has taken control of Northern Iraq; severe persecution of Christians with beheadings, crucifixions and terror; threats against Israel and the U.S.
Ebola – became an epidemic around July
Russia – invaded Crimea in February (before Blood Moon); attacked Ukraine in August
Drought – drought in California has been ongoing
Flooding – Midwestern states experienced flooding in August
Earthquakes – world wide
Nigeria – girls kidnapped by Boko Haram (Islamic Jihadist organization) on April 15th, same day as Blood Moon

According to Job 38-39, God controls the weather. He created the constellations, which Satan has used for evil in the form of astrology.

“He made the Pleiades and Orion; He turns the shadow of death into morning And makes the day dark as night; He calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth; The LORD is His name” Amos 5:8 (NKJV).

The signs are everywhere. God IS trying to get our attention. Are we awake? I hate to say that most of the church is asleep. Many are like the churches in Revelation who left their first love (Rev. 2:4), follow false teachers (Rev. 2:14; 2:20), commit acts of immorality (Rev. 2:14; 2:22), asleep (Rev. 3:2); dead (Rev. 3:1); lukewarm (Rev. 3:16).

What will it take to wake us up in America? 9/11 didn’t work nor the stock market crashes of 2001 and 2008. Will it require captivity like the nation of Israel?

It is time for the church in America to repent. We do not have time to live like those who lived in Noah’s day (Matt. 24:38). It will not matter whether your children are experts in ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics, football, baseball, soccer, volleyball and band when Christ returns. What will matter is what we did for Christ. It is time for the church to stand up and be the church. We need to be shouting repentance and salvation from the rooftops because condemnation awaits those who reject Christ. Do we really believe that those who die without Christ will end up in hell? We live as if we don’t believe this truth.

If you are a Christian, then prepare yourself. Get rid of your sin (Sin List from A-Z) and start telling everyone you know about Jesus Christ. You do not want the blood of anyone on your hands. God has called us to be watchmen. Whether you believe in the signs from heaven or not, Christ will return someday.

“The word of the LORD came to me, saying, ‘Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’ ‘So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me. When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul” Ezekiel 33:1-9 (NKJV).
