Coming Soon. . . New Spring Prayer Guide

I have been working on something big this past week. Next Friday I will post my new prayer guide, “Spiritual Renewal and Prayer for Revival in America”. If you have kept up with my posts this past week, I have been reblogging a series of lessons on the Lord’s Prayer I did last May. The purpose of these posts is to teach you how to pray according to the Lord’s Prayer. This new prayer guide will use the Lord’s Prayer as the model for praying for our nation.

I hope you will continue to join me as we pray for Revival and Spiritual Awakening in America. Remember that revival is for the church and spiritual awakening is for the lost. In order to have a spiritual awakening, the church must first be revived. In order for revival to occur, the church must return to her first love according to Rev. 2:4. The main themes of the Shantung Revival, which occurred in China from 1927-1937, were the tragedy of sin in the life of the believer and restitution or making things right with other men and women. Christians in America need to get serious about our sin, if we are to see revival. The lost don’t want to have anything to do with Christians who say one thing, but do another. If we want the lost to take notice of the church, then we must live a holy and righteous life.
