How to Form a Church Hub

A church hub is a church who agrees to hold quarterly prayer group meetings with other churches in your area. Many times we like to think of the church as the members of our own church, however the church is the entire body of Christ. Jesus said in His high priestly prayer, “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me” John 17:20-21 (NKJV). This verse states that the world will believe God sent Jesus if the church is one. Our churches in America are not united and do not operate as one body. The people in America have become confused as to what the real church is. Prayer in Evey City would like to unite local churches in prayer for revival and spiritual awakening for America.

In order to form a church hub, please follow these simple instructions and fill out the form below.
1.Select a prayer group leader for your meetings.
2.The church hub is responsible for recruiting local churches, distributing the free downloadable prayer guide Prayer in Every City Spring 2013 and the free downloadable sin list: Sin List from A-Z. The church hub will lead the prayer group meetings in the format that you choose.
3.Crossing Christian denominational lines is encouraged, but this is entirely up to the church hub.
4.Suggested dates for meetings on Sunday afternoons: September 8th or 15th (Rosh Hashanah), November 17th or 10th, March 16th (Purim), June 8 (Global Day of Prayer, Pentecost). I have tried to choose Feast Days of Israel or Jewish Holidays. This is optional and I will explain more about this later.
5.To insure that you actually meet 4 times a year, we recommend scheduling all four of your meetings a year at a time. This will make it easier for churches to mark their calendars.
6.Try to keep group meetings to about 1 hour, so as to respect the time of the participants in your group. If you choose to meet on a Sunday afternoon, many will need to get back for evening services.
7.The prayer guide Prayer in Every City Spring 2013 is designed to help you organize the topics to pray over. For example a prayer session could be led like this: According to the prayer guide, begin your prayer time with praise, then have a quiet time of confession by using the Sin List from A-Z, after the time of confession members can pray for communities (covering topics of Boldness, Unsaved, Schools, Believers), pray for Churches (covering topics of Individual Members, Families, Leaders, Spiritual Awakening), and last up not least pray for our nation (covering the topics of Repentance and Spiritual Awakening). The prayer guide is not to dictate what to pray, but to give you ideas of how to pray. Many people feel more comfortable praying out loud if they have some topics to pray over.
