The Prayer of Jabez

 

I have a few non-traditional revival verses that I use when praying for revival. The prayer of Jabez is one of these prayers. Rather than ask the Lord to enlarge my territory, I ask Him to enlarge my outreach to others. I also pray He will enlarge the outreach of others.

Satan does not like it when you pray for revival so remember to pray the protection part of this verse as well.

“Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, ‘Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.’ And God granted his request”
1 Chronicles 4:10 (NIV).
