Prayer in Every City Friday, January 22, 2016

Thank you for joining me for Prayer in Every City Friday. This year I want to support Franklin Graham and our nation in prayer. Franklin Graham will be traveling to all 50 states to promote prayer on his Decision America Tour 2016, encourage Christians to run for office and vote. Every Friday, we will meet here to pray for the states he has visited that week or the weeks to come. If you have come to pray, then please leave you prayer request for the nation. These are not prayer requests for personal needs, but requests for our nation to turn back to God.

I attended a volunteer meeting for the tour this week in my state. So far, Mr. Graham has received a great response in every state. The attendance has been remarkable: Florida had 3,500, Louisiana 4,200 and New Hampshire had 1,500 in 18° weather. Everyone who attended volunteer meeting was excited at what God is doing in our nation through this tour. When you are discouraged at what you hear on the news, remember that their is always hope. God is in control. Our nation needs prayer more than ever before.

This week Mr. Graham visited Concord, NH on January 19th. In the coming weeks he will visit Columbia, SC February 9th and Atlanta, GA February 10th.

Please pray the following:

1. Pray that the impact of this Decision America Atlanta Rally reaches far beyond the capitols of these states. *
2. Pray for the elected Officials of these 3 states. *
3. New Hampshire has the second-highest number of people who claim no faith. Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the Northeast. **
4. South Carolina has the highest domestic homicide rate in the nation. Pray for marriages and families to hear and accept the message of hope in Jesus Christ. **
5. Atlanta had the largest sex trade in the US between 2003 and 2007 according to a study done by Washington D.C.’s Urban Institute. Pray for these young teens, women and men to find faith in Jesus.
