Good Morning! I wanted to give a report on what the Lord is doing with Prayer in Every City. The Lord has been faithful. My blog receives an average of 700-750 visitors a month, which may not seem like a lot to the big bloggers, but to me it’s a blessing. I rejoice everyday that the Lord sends these visitors to my sight. I have had visits from over 81 countries since I began my blog last April. This past Thursday we had our quarterly church hub prayer service at my church with 106 in attendance. Last time we met we had around 15-20. Isn’t God amazing? I can see that God is changing lives and people are under conviction for their sins, so we may be experiencing the early sparks of a revival. Am I trying to brag about my success on this blog? Absolutely not! This blog is not about me or my success as I haven’t even identified myself on this blog. My only desire is to touch people’s hearts by the Word of God and to gather a group of strong prayer warriors to pray for Revival and Spiritual Awakening.
My pastor has been preaching on prayer for the past few weeks and the Lord asked me a question during one of the sermons. He asked, “Are you praying for Revival and Spiritual Awakening so the economy of America will improve and America will return to her former glory or are you praying for revival to see the lost brought to Jesus Christ?” My response to the Lord was to the later. Even if America’s economy collapses, I will still pray for revival because I want an end-time harvest of believers like the Great Awakenings in America’s past.
Our time on earth is short and there are many lives who will suffer through the tribulation and then in hell. We don’t talk much about hell, but if your loved ones and friends die with out Christ they will go to hell. The Bible describes hell and the lake of fire like this:
“The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 13:41-42 NASB).
“If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched– where ‘Their worm does not die, And the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:43-44 NKJV) .
Thank you for all my followers on this blog, because we as the body of Christ need to stand in unity and pray for Revival and Spiritual Awakening. This is not about me, but about praying, seeking and saving the lost. If you would like to form a Prayer in Every City prayer group, then click here: How to form a prayer group. I will not hassle you and it is free. After you join, I will add your location only to my “Who’s Praying?” page. I would like to see 1,200 prayer groups praying for revival. We have a long way to go, but God is faithful.
Thank you, Lord, for your answers to prayer and your faithfulness.
