Memory Verse Monday – Isaiah 59:1-2
It’s Memory Verse Monday! We have ended our month of Spiritual Renewal, but we will not stop learning how to grow spiritually. For the next few weeks, we will concentrate on how to intercede for America. Now that many of you have established prayer times, it is time to step it up a notch and begin a prayer group. Let’s prepare our hearts this week to make sure we are on praying ground. This is one of my favorite verses on prayer. I grew up in church and never realized the importance of cleansing the heart before prayer. Our sins can hinder the Lord from answering our prayers. Memorize this verse this week by writing it on a notecard and placing it throughout your house. I like to keep mine on the kitchen table. You might place it in your car or tape it to your mirror in the bathroom.
Isaiah 59:1-2 (NKJV) 1 Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. 2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.
