Prayer for Our Communities in America

Lord we pray that Christians in each community in America will have a desire to start prayer groups and pray with/for their neighbors. We pray they will continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. We pray that You will open doors for people to share Your word. Please, Lord, Let our speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt. (Col 4:2-6). Lord, please bring spiritual awakening to our communites and churches. Give people a yearning in their hearts to know Your Word. Also, give Christians a desire to live holy lives so they will be an example to their neighbors. Please protect our communites from evil people who wish to do harm. Almighty God, plant Your vision in our hearts and help us to diligently seek You. Make us aware of Your kingdom activity going on around us. Give us all a desire to help the poor and to do good to those who dislike us. In Jesus Name, Amen
