4 Blood Moons and the Fall Feasts
In September the Jewish people all over the world will celebrate Rosh Hashanah, which is the Jewish New Year. It will begin at sunset on Sunday, September 13 and end at nightfall Tuesday, September 15. This will end the Shemittah year or Sabbath year. The Shemittah year is explained in Lev. 25:3-6, 20-22. It is a year to give rest to the fields (Lev. 25:20-22) and forgive the loans of any debtors (Deut. 15:1-2). In the Old Testament the Jews failed to celebrate the Shemittah year, so the Lord caused them to go into exile in Babylon for 70 years (2 Chron. 36:20-21). This was the amount of time it took to make up for the missed Shemittahs. The 70 years in exile would give the land it’s rest.
Interesting Events Occurring during last two Shemittah years
Some interesting events have happened during the last two Shemittah years. We also have something interesting occurring in 2015.

- Stock Market Crash, Shemittah year 2008
- 2 Blood Moons, Shemittah year 2015
It will be interesting to watch what will happen during the next Jewish New Year. The cycle of Blood Moons we have and will experience in 2014 and 2015 is known as a tetrad, defined as a group of four.

4. Tabernacles – September 28, 2015
Fall Feast Dates 2015
Rosh Hashanah – Jewish New Year – Feast of Trumpets (Lev. 23:24; Num. 29:1-6)
Sunset Sunday, September 13 – Nightfall, Tuesday, September 15
Yom Kippur – Day of Atonement (Lev. 23:26;)
Sunset Tuesday, September 22 – Nightfall Wednesday, September 23
Sukkot – Feast of Tabernacles or Booths (Lev. 23:33-34)
Sunset Sunday – September 27 – Nightfall Sunday, October 4
Our next blood moon will occur on September 28, 2015 during the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot during the Shemittah year. I don’t know if anything will happen between now and then, but God has my full attention right now. I will be surprised at nothing. Events are already heated all over the world, with wars and rumors of wars, pestilence (disease), droughts and earthquakes all happening at the same time (Matt. 24:4-8) .
