Throwback Thursday – Evelyn Christenson

It’s Throwback Thursday. Today I am going to review a book by Evelyn Christenson. She was very popular in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. She has written many  books on prayer including best-seller What Happens When Women Pray and several others.

I have been reading her book, What Happens When God Answers this past week. I believe it is one of the best books on prayer that I have read. Mrs. Christenson really stresses the importance of united prayer. She formed over 6000 prayer groups for a single Billy Graham crusade. Perhaps preachers today don’t have the same results as Billy Graham, because they don’t have this kind of prayer support. This book is a must read for anyone who is praying for Revival and Spiritual Awakening in America. Revival can only happen with much prayer from many people. Read this book to find out how many people should be praying in America.
