10 Verses to Pray for Boldness and Courage
Do you ever wonder what you would do if you were to face persecution? Do you feel that you would cower at the knees rather than take a stand for Jesus Christ? Perhaps your fears are not as great as these, but you just don’t have the boldness you need to tell others about Jesus.
The Bible says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” 2 Tim 1:7 (NKJV).
If we know that we should not fear, but are timid anyway what should we do?

Prayer In Every City 
My fear is that I will cowar upon a threat to my husband or children. With the barbarianism of ISIS, my fears have intensified that they will make their way here and we will be physically persecuted
You need to read Corrie ten Boom’s book “Tramp for the Lord”. Her dad used to tell her that you don’t get your ticket until you get on the bus. The Lord will give you the ability to take a stand when you need it. You don’t need it now, so don’t be fearful. Where does fear come from?
