Throwback Thursday – Mary Geegh
It is Throwback Thursday. Today I want to give a book review for a little book called God Guides by Mary Geegh. She was a missionary in India for 38 years from 1924 – 1962. When she first began her mission work, she had no results for at least a year. Then a fellow missionary, Dr. L.R. Scudder, taught her how to “wait, be still and listen” (page 1). Mary learned how to listen to the voice of God and people began to be saved.
This little book is only 60 pages long, but it is well worth the read. Especially, if you have a hard time listening to the voice of the Lord.
Mary Geegh – “When man listens, God speaks; when man obeys, God acts; when God acts, men change.” (page 7)
