Prayer Focus for July 18, 2014

Thank you for praying for America today. If you have made it to this post, then you are automatically counted for today’s prayer.

What to Do:

Gather as many people as possible to pray with you. At noon today, no matter what time zone you live in, stop what you are doing a doing and pray for at least 5 Minutes for Revival and Spiritual Awakening for America and around the world. All participants should visit my blog http://prayerineverycity.com and click on the “5 Minute Prayer Friday” post so we can see how many people have prayed. Set up an alarm on your cell phone, if you have one, which will go off every Friday at noon. I have an android and use the app called “Clock”. Help me spread the word about “5 Minute Prayer Friday” by printing the free business cards below and giving them to your friends.

Focus:

Please pray for the families of the 295 people who died in the Malaysian in the Ukraine. Also, pray for Christians to be bold witnesses as we near the end times.

Prayer:

Lord, we pray for the families of the people who died in the airline that was shot down over the Ukraine yesterday. Please comfort them as they look for answers to this senseless tragedy. We pray for peace in the Ukraine so these tragedies do not continue to occur.

We also pray for the continued war in Israel. People around the world are living in fear because of these wars. Help Christians realize that this is a great opportunity for them to share their faith to those who are perishing. We pray You will draw people into Your kingdom as a result of these wars.

We can see that we are living in the end times, so please let us be bold witnesses for You. We pray that you will give us boldness and courage to speak the gospel message. Help us to watch for divine opportunities to share our faith.

We also pray for revival and spiritual awakening in America and around the world. As our time on earth is short, we pray that you will awaken Your church, which seems to be content in its sleepy state. Your church is not ready for end time events, so please raise up preachers and teachers who are not afraid to preach the entire Word. Please forgive the shallow preachers of today, who are afraid to speak about sin and hell. Make them ashamed and cause them to repent.
