The next National Day of Prayer will be May 1, 2014. Please check their website for a location to pray in your area, National Day of Prayer.   I had the privilege of meeting the members of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, including Shirley Dobson, this past summer as they toured the United States promoting this event. They all have a desire to see Revival and Spiritual Awakening for America.

The National Day of Prayer began in 1952 by a resolution passed by the U.S. Congress and signed by Harry Truman. There is much controversy over this national holiday so do not waste an opportunity to participate in this even, whether it be in your home or a sponsored event. How sad that atheists try to impose their views on everyone. If they do not wish to participate in prayer on this day, then that is their choice, but to try…
