Memory Verse Monday

It’s Memory Verse Monday! I am tired of the cold weather this winter. What about you? Don’t you wish you were in Hawaii right now?

I hope you have not been as lazy as me on your scripture memorization. This was a favorite verse of Bertha Smith, who was a missionary to China, so I am determined to memorize it. When I first began memorizing verses for the blog, I didn’t think I would be very good at it. Just this week I have had an opportunity to use some of the verses that I have memorized and was very pleased with myself. Many times I learn them, but forget them after a few months. Some of them have actually stuck. Persevere and you will be greatly rewarded.

“He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy” Proverbs 28:13 (NKJV).
