Memory Verse Monday – Salvation Verses

It’s another Memory Verse Monday. For the next few weeks we will be learning about salvation so you can learn how to witness. I believe that the reason most people are afraid to share their faith, is because they really don’t know how. Paul told Timothy to be able to preach the word in season and out of season in 2 Tim. 4:2, in other words, be ready at all times. In order to be able to share the message of salvation anytime or anywhere, you must have scripture memorized. When witnessing, we must not be timid and hold back when talking about sin or the judgment to come (Acts 24:25). The book of Acts has many different witnessing situations so this is where we will begin on Word Study Wednesday. Your verse to memorize this week is one you are probably familiar with. When memorizing scripture, make sure you know the context of the verse, meaning look at the verses above the verse and below the verse.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 (NKJV)
