Happy Sunday! I hope you have taken some time to spend with the Lord and your family today. Sometimes we take for granted the freedom we have in the United States to worship freely. We once had a preacher from the Ukraine preach at our church. He was heartbroken when he rode to church and saw the people jogging on Sunday rather than be at the House of the Lord. He said, “You mean to tell me that you have a church on every street corner and people do not go to church? In my country people have to walk 10 miles over mountains and snow to get to church and here you have all these churches, but yet you don’t go.” Many times we fail to realize how blessed we are in our nation.
Thank you, Lord, that we have so many churches to attend. Please forgive us when we neglect to go to Your house. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict every lost person in America. We also pray for the boldness to be willing to witness to these people. In Christ’s Name, Amen.
