Avoid Temptation Tuesday – Failure to Witness

It’s Avoid Temptation Tuesday. Every Tuesday we take a look at a particular sin, because unconfessed sin hinders prayer. I have to admit that I am not the best at sharing my faith. Jesus told us to ” Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” Matt 28:19-20 (KJV). According to this verse, we are not only to teach them the gospel message, but we are to teach them all things or disciple them. I believe that many churches fail when it comes to discipleship. Perhaps this is why we are losing 70% of our youth when they graduate from high school. We need to teach all believers how to study the Bible so they are not deceived by false teachers.
