Prayer for West, Texas – 1 month anniversary

Today marks the one month anniversary of the West, Texas explosion. A total of 14 lives were lost that day, with nine of them volunteer firefighters or other first responders. In a town of 2,800, over 160 were hurt, and one-fifth of the …town was either destroyed or damaged.

Lord, we pray for the people of West, Texas. Many of us will forget about this tragedy because it didn’t impact our lives like the residents of West. Unfortunately, they will relive this tragedy everyday. Please bring healing to the hearts of each person living in this small town. We thank you for Christian organizations, such as Samaritan’s Purse who are helping these people rebuild. We pray that something good will happen as a result of this tragedy. In Christ’s Name, Amen.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 (NKJV)
